DEMAND DEPOSITS, CURRENCY, AND RELAXED ITEMS Money supply rose $1.6 billion in September to a .seasonally adjusted monthly average level of $1643 billion. This expansion xeflected shafcp increases in demand deposits in the middle of September, followed by some declftie at the end of the month. Time deposits adjusted increased $1^4 billion,further in September, the smallest increase since June.
