Loans on s t o c k s and bonds, i n c l u d i n g United S t a t e s Government o b l i g a t i o n s were $78,000,000 above t h e September 21 t o t a l a t a l l r e p o r t i n g banks and $^3,000,000 above a t banks i n t h e Hew York d i s t r i c t .
