Commercial, i n d u s t r i a l , and a g r i c u l t u r a l loans decreased $29,000,000 i n New York C i t y , $11,000,000 i n the Chicago D i s t r i c t and $1*6,000,000 a t a l l reporting member banks end increased $13,000,000 in the Dallas D i s t r i c t , Loans f o r purchasing or^ carrying United S t a t e s Government and other s e c u r i t i e s decreased $110,000,000, of which $102,000,000 was i n New York C i t y , Holdings of Treasury b i l l s decreased $135,000,000 i n New York C i t y and $88,000,000 a t a l l reporting member banks, and increased $25,000,000 i n the P h i l a delphia D i s t r i c t and $22,000,000 i n the Chicago D i s t r i c t , United S t a t e s Government bonds decreased $ 8 2 , 0 0 0 , 0 0 0 i n New York City and $94,000,000 a t a l l reporting member banks.
