Moderate i n c r e a s e s i n commercial loans* as. a g a i n s t f u r t h e r r e d u c t i o n s i n the
h o l d i n g s of Treasury c e r t i f i c a t e s and of war l o a n p a p e r , accompanied by l a r g e r i n c r e a s e s of borrowings f r o m the F e d e r a l Reserve Banks, a r e i n d i c a t e d i n the F e d e r a l
Reserve B o a r d ' s weekly s t a t e m e n t showing c o n d i t i o n on June 4 of S13 member banks i n
leading c i t i e s .
