For immediate r e l e a s e COFDITIOH OF "WEEKLY REPORTING I TIBER BASICS III 90 LEADING- CITIES The Federal Reserve B o a r d ' s c o n d i t i o n statement of weekly r e p o r t i n g member banks i n 90 l e a d i n g c i t i e s on February 7 shows an i n c r e a s e f o r the week of $61,000,000 i n United S t a t e s Government s e c u r i t i e s , o f f s e t by d e c r e a s e s of $51,000,000 i n o t h e r s e c u r i t i e s and $49,000,000 in l o a n s , a l s o i n c r e a s e s of $34,000,000 in r e s e r v e b a l a n c e s with Federal Reserve banks, $12,000,000 i n n e t d e mand and time d e p o s i t s , and $13,000,000 in Government d e p o s i t s . Loans on s e c u r i t i e s d e c l i n e d $21,000,000 at r e p o r t i n g member banks i n the Hew York d i s t r i c t and $22,000,000 a t a l l r e p o r t i n g member banks, "All o t h e r " loans d e c l i n e d $28,000,000 i n the Few York d i s t r i c t and $27,000,000 a t a l l r e p o r t ing banks, and i n c r e a s e d $6,000,000 i n the Chicago d i s t r i c t .
