Loans and d i s c o u n t s of member banks i n New York C i t y show a n i n c r e a s e of $ 8 4 , 0 0 0 , 0 0 0 , while t h e i r i n v e s t m e n t s d e c l i n e d by $ 1 , 0 0 0 , 0 0 0 .
