Commercial, i n d u s t r i a l , and a g r i c u l t u r a l loans declined $$2,000,000 i n New York City, $17,000,000 i n the Chicago D i s t r i c t , and $1*1,000,000 a t a l l reporting member banks, and increased $20,000,000 i n the San Francisco D i s t r i c t . Loans t o brokers and dealers for purchasing or carrying United Spates Government o b l i g a t i o n s declined $26,000,000, and other loans f o r the same purpose $21*,000,000.
