Commercial, i n d u s t r i a l , and a g r i c u l t u r a l loans d e c l i n e d $59,000,000 i n N e w York City and $86,000,000 a t a l l r e p o r t i n g member banks, and increased $12,000,000 i n thejCity^of b m s i n c r e a s e d $302,000,000 in New York City, $62,000,000 in the Chicago D i s t r i c t , $31,000,000 in the Cleveland D i s t r i c t , and $372,000,000 a t a l l r e p o r t i n g member banks. Holdings of Treasury c e r t i f i c a t e s of indebtedness increased $61,000,000 in the Chicago D i s t r i c t and $73,000,000 a t a l l r e p o r t i n g member banks. Holdings of Treasury notes declined $32,000,000. Holdings of United S t a t e s Government bonds increased $78,000,000 i n New York City, $11,000,000 each in the Cleveland and Chicago D i s t r i c t s , and $105,000,000 a t a l l reporting member banks and declined $13,000,000 i n the Boston D i s t r i c t . .
