Excess r e s e r v e s of member banks on September 18 w e r e ' e s t i m a t e d t o be -approximately $930,000,000. Holdings of l o a n s , d i s c o u n t s and advances i n c r e a s e d $12,00(5,000 and of United S t a t e s Government s e c u r i t i e s $130,000,000.
