CONDITION OF FEDERAL RESERVE BAHKS The d a i l y average volume of F e d e r a l r e s e r v e "bank c r e d i t o u t s t a n d i n g during t h e week ending October 7» a s r e p o r t e d by t h e F e d e r a l r e s e r v e "banks, was $1> 757.000,000, an i n c r e a s e of $265,000,000 compared w i t h the p r e c e d i n g week and of $715,000,000 compared w i t h t h e c o r r e s p o n d i n g week i n 1930. On October 7 t o t a l r e s e r v e bank c r e d i t o u t s t a n d i n g amounted to $1,839,000,000, an i n c r e a s e of $261,000,000 f o r t h e week. This i n c r e a s e corresponds w i t h i n c r e a s e s of $185)000,000 i n money i n c i r c u l a t i o n and $54,000,000 i n unexpended c a p i t a l f u n d s , nonmember d e p o s i t s , e t c . , and d e c r e a s e s - o f $97,000,000 i n monetary g o l d s t o c k and $11,000,000 i n T r e a s u r y c u r r e n c y , a d j u s t e d , o f f s e t i n p a r t by a decrease of $87,000,000 in member bank r e s e r v e b a l a n c e s .
