BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM H.4.1 (For Immediate Release) October 16, 1952 CONDITION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS Member Bank Reserves and Related Items During the week ended October 15, Member bank reserves increased $374 million. The principal changes supplying reserves were decreases of $ 3 % million in Treasury deposits with Federal Reserve Banks, $70 million in Other deposits with Federal Reserve Banks, and $48 million in Foreign deposits with Federal Reserve Banks. The principal offsetting changes were an increase of $72 million in Money in circulation and a decrease of $59 million in Reserve Bank credit. The decrease of $59 million in Reserve Bank credit resulted from a decrease of $247 million in Loans, discounts and advances and an increase of $189 million in Float.
