CONDITION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS
Member Bank Reserves and Related Items
During the week ended March 25, Member bank reserves decreased
crease of $15 million in Foreign deposits with Federal Reserve Banks.^
principal offsetting changes were decreases of $108 million m Money in
circulation and $30 million in Other deposits with Federal Reserve Banks.
The decrease of $791 million in Reserve Bank credit resulted from
decreases of $393 million in Float, $305 million in Loans, discounts and
advances, and $94 million in U. S. Government securities. Holdings of U. S.
Government securities, which include $63 million certificates of indebtedness
special series, issued to the Federal Reserve Banks, reflected decreases of
$47 million in certificates and $46 million in bills.
