CONDITION OF FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS The d a i l y average volume of F e d e r a l r e s e r v e "bank c r e d i t o u t s t a n d i n g d u r i n g the week ending J u l y 27, a s r e p o r t e d "by the F e d e r a l r e s e r v e "banks, was $2,434,000,000, a d e c r e a s e of $4,000,000 compared w i t h t h e p r e c e d i n g week and an i n c r e a s e of $1,496,000,000 compared w i t h the c o r r e s p o n d i n g week of 1931• On J u l y 27 t o t a l r e s e r v e "bank c r e d i t amounted to $ 2 , 4 2 2 , 0 0 0 , 0 0 0 , a d e c r e a s e of $16,000,000 f o r t h e week. This d e c r e a s e c o r r e s p o n d s with a d e c r e a s e of $45,000,000 i n money i n c i r c u l a t i o n and an i n c r e a s e of $3,000,000 i n monetary gold s t o c k , o f f s e t i n p a r t "by i n c r e a s e s of $36,000,000 i n member "bank r e s e r v e "balances and $3,000,000 i n unexpended c a p i t a l f u n d s , nonmember d e p o s i t s , e t c .
