member bank borrowings at Federal Reserve Banks increased
declined.

Declines in both float and other Federal Reserve assets and an
increase in other Federal Reserve liabilities and capital were the major
factors absorbing reserves in the latest statement week. Partially offsetting these reserve drains were declines in both Treasury deposits with
Federal Reserve Banks and currency in circulation. In addition, System Open
Market operations provided $394 million reserves net, on a weekly average
basis.
