COilDITIOiT OF INDERAL RESERVE BALTICS The d a i l y average volume of Federal z.e serve t a n k c r e d i t o u t s t a n d i n g during the week ending Ao~ i l 22, a s r e p o r t e d "by t h e Federal r e s e r v e hanlcs, was $365,000,000, an i n c r e a s e of # 0 , 0 0 0 , 0 0 0 compared with the p r e c e d i n g week and a decrease of $125,000,000 compared with the c o r r e s p o n d i n g week i n 1930. On A p r i l 22 t o t a l r e s e r v e bank c r e d i t amounted to ^ 1 1 , 0 0 0 , 0 0 0 , an i n c r e a s e of $16,000,000 f o r t h e week. This i n c r e a s e corresponds with an i n c r e a s e of $24,000,000 i n member "bank r e s e r v e "balances and a decrease of $11,000,000 in Treasury currency a d j u s t e d , o f f s e t in p a r t "by d e c r e a s e s of $11,000,000 in money in c i r c u l a t i o n and $4,000,000 i n unexpended c a p i t a l f u n d s , e t c . , and an i n c r e a s e of $3,000,000 i n monetary gold s t o c k . Holdings of d i s c o u n t e d b i l l s i n c r e a s e d $3,000,000 during t h e week, the p r i n c i p a l changes b e i n g an i n c r e a s e of $5,000,000 a t t h e Federal Reserve Bank of Hew York and d e c l i n e s of $3,000,000 each at Cleveland and Richmond.
