COHDITIOF OF FEDERAL RESERVE BAJ1CS The d a i l y average volume of F e d e r a l r e s e r v e "bank c r e d i t o u t s t a n d i n g during the week ending A p r i l 20, as r e p o r t e d "by the F e d e r a l r e s e r v e "banks, was $1,713*000,000, an i n c r e a s e of $84,000,000 compared with the p r e c e d i n g week and of *f4o,000,000 compared with the corresponding week in 1931* On A p r i l 20 t o t a l r e s e r v e bank c r e d i t amounted to $1,700,000,000, an i n c r e a s e of $14,000,000 f o r the week. This i n c r e a s e corresponds with i n c r e a s e s of $17,000,000 i n unexpended c a p i t a l f u n d s , nonmember d e p o s i t s , e t c . , and $2,000,000 in money i n c i r c u l a t i o n , and d e c r e a s e s of $26,000,000 i n Treasury currency, adj u s t e d , and $3,000,000 in monetary gold s t o c k , o f f s e t i n p a r t by a decrease of $32,000,000 in member bank r e s e r v e b a l a n c e s .
