The p r i n c i p a l changes supplying r e s e r v e s were decreases of $300 m i l l i o n i n Treasury d e p o s i t s with Federal Reserve Banks, $21 m i l l i o n i n Foreign d e p o s i t s with F e d e r a l Reserve Banks, and $17 m i l l i o n i n Treasury cash h o l d i n g s , and an i n c r e a s e of $82 m i l l i o n i n Reserve Bank c r e d i t . The p r i n c i p a l o f f s e t t i n g change, was an i n c r e a s e of $28 m i l l i o n i n Money i n c i r c u l a t i o n . The i n c r e a s e of $82 m i l l i o n i n Reserve Bank c r e d i t r e s u l t e d from an i n c r e a s e of $172 m i l l i o n i n U. S . Government s e c u r i t i e s , and decreases of $56 m i l l i o n i n F l o a t and $34 m i l l i o n i n Loans, discounts and advances. Holdings of U. S . Government s e c u r i t i e s r e f l e c t e d an i n c r e a s e of $210 m i l l i o n i n bonds, and decreases of $27 m i l l i o n i n b i l l s and $11 m i l l i o n i n n o t e s .
