ACTIONS OF THE BOARD
Regulation Q amendment, to permit member banks to issue
a l l time deposits in book-entry form as an a l t e r native to issuing c e r t i f i c a t e s of deposit in d e f i n i t i v e form; the Board also adopted technical amendments
to conform Regulation Q to actions taken by the
Depository I n s t i t u t i o n s Deregulation Committee.
Regulation Z, Truth in Lending, Treatment of S e l l e r ' s
Points; extension of the comment period to
September 27, 1982.
Swap arrangements, the Treasury Department and the
Federal Reserve announced t h e i r p a r t i c i p a t i o n in an
arrangement, in cooperation with the central banks
of other Group of Ten countries, Spain and Switzerland,
under the aegis of the Bank for International S e t t l e ments, designed to provide short-term financing to the
Banco de Mexico.
