BANK DEBITS Debits to individual accounts, as reported to the Federal Eeserve Board by banks in leading cities for the week ending October 22, aggregated $13,228,000,000 or 4 per cent above the total reported for the preceding week, which included but five business days in many of the reporting cities, and 35 Per cent below the total reported for the corresponding week of last year. Aggregate debits for l4l centers for which figures have been published weekly since January 1919 amounted to $12,421,000,000, as compared with $1 2 , 021 , 000,000 for the preceding week and $19 , 335 , 000,000 for the week ending October 23 of last year.
