Debits to individual accounts, as reported to the Federal Reserve B03rd "by
"banks in leading citics for the week ending rlovenber 4, which included "but five
"business days in some of the reporting centers, aggregated $7,935,000,000 or 5 Per
cent above the total reported for the preceding week and 31 per cent below the
total for the corresponding week of last year, which included but five business
days in nost of the reporting cities.
Aggregate debits for the l4l centers for which figures have been published
weekly since January 1919 amounted to $7,360,000,000, as compared with
$7,024,000,000 the preceding week and $10,635,000,000 the week ending ITover.iber 5
of last year.
