As compared with the week ending November 5, 1924, debits for the week under review are larger ¥y $1,792,000,000 or 17 per sent, Substantial increases are shown for most of the more important centers, the principal increases New York City $777,000,000, Chicago $171,000,000. The largest decrease, $26,000,000, was reported by Duluth. Aggregate debits for l4l centers for which figures have been published weekly, since Jamary, 1919, amounted to $11,542,316,000, as c o m p a r e d with $12,272,375,000 for the preceding week and $9,857,802,000 for the week ending November 5, 19*1*. Debits to individual accounts were reported to the Federal Reserve Board for banks in 257 centers, of which 256 are included in the summary by Federal reserve districts.
