BABE DEBITS

Board of Governors
of the Federal Heserve System
November 7, 1936

Debits to individual accounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for
the weak ended November 4, aggregated ^8,656,000,000, or 5 percent below the total
for the preceding week and 3 percent above the total for the corresponding week of
last year.
Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main­
tained since January 1919 amounted to *7,987,000,000, compared with •-1:8,448,000,000
the preceding week and #7,769,000,000 the week ended November 6 of last year.
