Debits to individual accounts, as reported to the Federal Reserve Board by
banks in leading cities for the wee^c ended November 15 , which included but five
business days in most of the reporting cities, aggregated $6,446,000,000, or 12
per cent above the total reported for the preceding week and l 6 per cent above
the^ total for the corresponding -reek of last year, which also included but five
business days in most of the reporting cities.
■kj-y-jrelated debits for the 1-41 cities for which a separate total has been mair
tained since -January 1919 amounted to $6,002,000,000, compared with
$5,306,100,000 the preceding week and $5,119,000,000 the week ended November l 6
of last year.
