BAKK DEBITS Debits to individual accounts, as reported to the Federal Reserve Board by banks in leading cities for the week ended May 9, aggregated $7,373,000,000, or 13 per cent below the total reported i'or the preceding week and 24 per cent-above the total for the corresponding week of last year. Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has- been main tained since January 1919 amounted to $6,902,000,000, compared with $Sr010,000,000 the preceding week and $5,562,000,000 the weeic ended May lo of last.year.
