R. 285 • STATEMENT FOR THE PRESS ’ For immediate release Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System March 9, 191+2 BANK DEBITS— DEBITS TO DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS EXCEPT INTERBANK ACCOUNTS Bank debits as reported by banks in leading centers for the week ended March 1+ aggregated $11,757*000,000, Total debits during the 13 weeks ended March 1+ amounted to $ll+.6,385,000,000, or 17 per cent above the total reported for the corresponding period a year ago.
