banks in leading cities for the week ended M
ay 29, aggregated $6,933,000,000, or 4
per cent below the total reported for the preceding week and 30 Per cent above the
total reported for the corresponding weelp of last year*
Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main­
tained since January 1919 amounted to $6,434,000,000, compared with $6,7H»000,000
the preceding week and $4,966,000,000 the week ended M
ay 3Oof last year.
