Debits to deposit accounts (except interbank accounts), as reported by banks
in leading cities for the week ended July 3* aggregated $10#057*000,000. Total
debits during the 13 weeks ended July 3 amounted to $109*933*000,000, or 7 per ceat
above the total reported for the corresponding period a year ago.
