STATEMENT FOR THE PRESS F6.r immediate release BASS DEBITS B-806 Federal Reserve Board July 8, 1935* Debits to individual accounts, as reported to the Federal Reserve Board by banks in leading cities for the week ended July 3, aggregated $10,497*000,000, or 46 per cent above the total reported for the preceding week and 32 per cent above the total for the corresponding week of last year, which included only five business days. Aggsegate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main tained since January 1919 amounted to $9,783,000,000, compared with $6,657»000,000 the preceding week and $7*030,000,000 the week ended July 4 of last year.
