BANK DEBITS Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System July 11, 1936 Debits to individual accounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for the week ended July S, which included only five business days, aggregated $8,1+54,000,000, or 21 percent below the total reported for the preceding week and 29 percent above the total for the corresponding week of last year, which also included only five business days. Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main tained since January 1919 amounted to $7,797,000,000, compared with $9,914,000,000 the preceding week and $6,054,000,000 the week ended July 10 of last year.
