During the past three months to ta l debits for the same centers amounted to 207,792 m illio n dollars or 15 per cent above the to ta l reported for the corresponding period a year ago. At banks in New York City there was fcn increase of 19 per cent compared with the correspond ing three-months period a year ago, end at the 333 other centers there was an increase of 13 per cent.
