banks in leading cities for the week ending February 5, aggregated
$1 5 , 733 , 000,000 or 22 per cent above the total reported for the preceding week,
and 24 per cent below the total reported for the corresponding week of last year.
Aggregate debits for l4l centers for which figures have been $Tlblished
weekly since January 1919 amounted to $l4,917,000,000, as compared.with
$12 , 226, 000,000 for the preceding week and $19 , 901 ,000,000 for the week ending
February 6 of last year.
