Debits to individual accounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for the
week ended February 12, which included only five business days in manjs of the re­
porting centers, aggregated $6, 736,000, 000, or 27 per cent below the total reported
for the preceding week and 11 per cent above the total for the corresponding weax
of last year, which also included only five business days in many of the reporting
Arrrerate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main-_
tainef ^since January 1919 amounted to $6, 250,000, 000, compared with $ s»597*00°»000
the preceding week and $5,619,000,000 the week ended February 13 of last year.
