Debits to individual accounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for
the week ended February 7, aggregated $8,208,000,000,.=r 1 percent
total
reported for the preceding week and 5 percent above the total for the cor.espon x g
week of last year.
Agp'repate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been
maintained since January 1919 amounted to $7,520,000,000, compared with
$7,530,000,000 the preceding wee]: and $7,198,000,000 the week ended February 8
of last year.
