BANK DEBITS Volume of business for the week ending February S shows a decrease as c “ pared with the preceding week of about $218,000,000, or 2 .7 Per cent. ^ '0& leading centers report smaller figures for the more recent week, the aecre^ New.York City alone being $235.000,000. On the other hand, larger to a s ^ week before are shown for Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Kansas Cl y an Dallas. As compared with the week ending February 9, 1921 the volume of business for the report week was larger by $270,000,000, or more than 3 .Per cerit* **Ssi i were reported by many of the leading centers, including New York, whose mere constituted about 90 per cent of the total gain for all reporting centers, m^ng the cities reporting reduced totals this year compared with^last was San Francisco for which a reduction of $ 30 , 000, 000, or over 17 per cent, is shown.
