New York City reports an increase of $3^>000 ,000, St. Louis of $30 >000 ,000, Philadelphia of $25,000,000 and New Orleans of $22,000,000. Decreases of $Uo ,000,000 are re ported for Boston, $3U,00,000 for Detroit and $18,000,000 for Chicago. As compared with the week ending December 5> 1923 > debits fo r the week under review show an increase of $1,^91,000,000 or lb per cent* The principal increases are as follow s: New York City $ 1 ,0 7 0 ,0 0 0 ,0 0 0 , Chicago $103 >000,000, Philadelphia $50,000,000 and Boston $Ug,000,000. A reduction of $11,000,000 was reported for New Orleans.
