banks in leading cities for the week ending December 12, aggregated
$19 , 5o3 , 995»000 or 6.3 per cent above the total of $13,705,314,000 reported for
the preceding week, which included but five business days and 39*5 Per cent
above the total for the ’.reek ending December l4, 1927.
Aggregate debits for l4l centers for which figures have been published
weekly since January 1919 amounted to about $13,966,000,000, as compared 7/ith
$1 7 , 779 , 353,000 for the preceding week and $13,4-31,412,000 for the week ending
December l4, 1927 .
