BAI8C DEBITS—DEBITS TO DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS EXCEPT INTERBANK ACCOUNTS

Bank debits as reported by banks in 333 leading centers for the month of
November aggregated 99,1491 million dollars* During the past three months total
debits for the same centers amounted to 302,376 million dollars or U per cent
below the total reported for the corresponding period a year ago# At banks in New
York City there was a decrease of 2 per cent compared with the corresponding
thr6e*imonth8 period a year ago, and at the 332 other centers there was a decrease
of 5 per cent.
