BABE DEBITS Debits to individual accounts, banks in leading cities for the week 25 per cent below the total reported the total for the corresponding week as reported to the Federal Reserve Board by ending August 9» aggregated $5,352,000,000, or for the preceding week and 7 per cent below of last year. Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main tained since January 1919 amounted to $4,972,000,000, compared with $6,665,000,000 the preceding wed: and $5,386,000,000 the week ending August 10 of last year.
