COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $104 million at weekly
^ reporting large commercial banks during the week ended August 26.
,
The principal net increases were $137 million in loans to all other types
of business concerns, and $91 million in bankers' acceptances.
The largest offsetting net decreases were $69 million in loans to
manufacturers of textiles, apparel, and leather products, and $75 million to
4 > unclassified borrowers.
