H. 12 r e l e a s e • f*4L RES^ For Immediate release June 3, 1970 COMMERCIAL AND I OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $395 million at weekly .^reporting large commercial banks during the week ended May 27. The principal net decreases were $59 million in loans to manufacturers of Jfood, liquor, and tobacco products, and $112 million to manufacturers of machinery. The largest offsetting net increase was $70 million in loans to manufacturers +.of transportation equipment.
