•^ofoo^; FEDERAL RESERVE statistical release ' • f<<U R E ^ For Immediate release H.12 June 24, 1970 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $1,616 million at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week ended June 17. The principal net increases were $431 million in loans to manufacturers of machinery, $129 million to manufacturers of transportation equipment, $118 million to manufacturers of "other" fabricated metal products, $103 million to manufacturers of "other" nondurable goods, $133 million to "other" public utilities, and $169 million to unclassified borrowers. The largest offsetting net decrease was $93 million in loans to foreign commercial and industrial loans.
