FEDERAL RESERVE statistica For Immediate release January 31, 1968 H. 12 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDDTG BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans decreased in eleven districts and in all but three industrial categories for a net decrease of $687 million in weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week ended January 24. The principal net decreases were $106 million in loans to "other" public utilities, $102 million to "all other" types of business concerns, $101 million to manufacturers of food, liquor, and tobacco products, and $87 million to unclassified borrowers.
