GQVfr release statistic For immediate release August l6, 1967 Ho 12 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $546 million at weekly reporting large commercial tanks during the week ended August 9. The principal net decreases were $179 million in loans to manufacturers of machinery, $91 million to retail trade, and $47 million in hankers1 acceptances and "other" public utilities. The larger offsetting net increases were $23 million in loans to commodity dealers, and $21 million to the manufacturers of textiles, apparel, and leather products.
