MATURITY DISTRIBUTION OF EURO-DOLLAR DEPOSITS
IN FOREIGN BRANCHES OF U.S. BANKS
The average maturity of Euro-dollar deposits in foreign branches
of U.S. banks at the end of March rose to 2.3 months, from 2.2 months at the
end of February. The average maturity of deposits excluding call and overnight deposits also rose to 2.6 months, from 2.5 months in February. Total
Euro-dollar deposits rose slightly to $28.0 billion.
