on charge a c c o u n t s showed t h e c u s t o m a r i l y , s h a r p r e d u c t i o n from J a n u a r y t o
F e b r u a r y , and.'the. c o l l e c t i o n r a t i o of 61 per cent was m a i n t a i n e d f o r t h e t h i r d
c o n s e c u t i v e month; Charge a c c o u n t s were c o l l e c t e d , on t h e a v e r a g e , i n 49 days,
a p p r o x i m a t e l y the-same l e n g t h of time as i n February 1944.
The volume of cash and c r e d i t s a l e s showed l i t t l e change from t h e p r e ceding -month. C a s h ' s a l e s , which amounted to"more t h a n t h r e e - f i f t h s of the. t o t a l ,
