RETAIL FURNITURE REPORT FOR 3KC3MBSR 1?60

Total accounts receivable at reporting furniture stores increased seasonally in December but remained somewhat below a year
earlier. Collections on instalment accounts were 11 per cent of the
amount outstanding at the beginning of the month.
Sales at reporting stores also rose seasonally but were
smaller in i960 than they were in 1959*
