RETAIL FURNITURE REPORT IOR JUNE i960

•total accounts receivable at reporting furniture stores
rose slightly in June and were about 3 per cent higher than in June
1959. Collections on instalment accounts remained at 12 per cent
of the amount outstanding at the beginning of the month.
Sales at reporting stores rose somewhat in June} and
were about the same for the first six months of this year as for
the same period last year.
