St. Louis Fed Announces Promotions
ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis announced the following promotions:
Susan Curry, manager in Check Processing, has been promoted to operations officer. Before joining the Fed in
1998, she worked for Mercantile Bancorporation. She has a bachelor of science degree in finance from the
University of Illinois and a master's degree in business from Fontbonne College. Curry also graduated from the
Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Andrea Eddy, operations officer at the St. Louis Fed's Little Rock Branch, has been named assistant vice president
of Business Development in St. Louis. Previously, she managed the Check Services, Human Resources and
Community Affairs departments for the Little Rock Branch. She began her career with the Federal Reserve in 1990
in Kansas City. She has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and communication from William Jewell College in
Liberty, Mo., and a master of science degree in industrial/organizational psychology from St. Mary's University in
San Antonio, Texas.
Visweswara Rao Kaza, manager for Information Technology Services, has been promoted to officer in Customer
Relations. He joined the St. Louis Fed in 1983 as a programmer analyst. He has a master's degree in business
administration from Washington University in St. Louis and a master's degree in computer science from the Indian
Institute of Technology in Bombay.
Robert E. Kellar, Jr., director of Business Development and the Customer Support Center in the Federal Reserve
Bank of Atlanta's Miami Branch, has been named operations officer for Product Development and Market
Intelligence/Analyses in St. Louis. He began his career with the Federal Reserve in 1988 as a management intern at
the Miami Branch of the Atlanta Fed. He has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Ohio
State University.
Todd J. Purdy, manager of Electronic Access Support, has been named an officer in Accounting. Purdy joined the
St. Louis Fed in 1993 as a management analyst. He has bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration,
both from Washington University in St. Louis.
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis has branches in Little Rock, Louisville and Memphis. It serves the Eighth
Federal Reserve District, which includes all of Arkansas, eastern Missouri, southern Indiana, southern Illinois,
western Kentucky, western Tennessee and northern Mississippi. In addition to serving as a bank for depository
institutions and the U.S. government, each Reserve Bank supervises state-chartered member banks and bank
holding companies to foster the safety and soundness of the District's banking and financial institutions and protect
the credit rights of consumers, monitors economic conditions in the District, and participates in formulating
monetary policy.
