Holmes Named Operations Officer for Check Department of St. Louis
Fed's Memphis Branch
ST. LOUIS -The Memphis Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis announced
the appointment of John G. Holmes as operations officer for the Branch's Check Department.
Holmes brings 13 years of banking experience to the Branch, encompassing check
management and a comprehensive knowledge of check processing, electronic check
presentment, image processing, check processing control systems and lockbox remittance
services.

A native of Memphis, Holmes was a vice president and manager at First Tennessee Bank
before joining the Federal Reserve. He has also worked extensively on projects for the Bank
Administration Institute and the Southern Financial Exchange. He attended the University of
Memphis.

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis has branches in Little Rock, Louisville and
Memphis. It serves the Eighth Federal Reserve District, which includes all of Arkansas,

northern Mississippi. In addition to serving as a bank for depository institutions and the U.S.
