of a C la ss A D irector of the F ed era l R ese r v e Bank of
St. L ou is to se r v e for the rem ain d er of the term ending
D ecem b er 31, 1967, w as held on July 20, 1966, in a c c o r d ­
ance w ith the req u irem en ts of S ection 4 of the F ed era l
R ese r v e A ct and the p ro v isio n s of the cir c u la r issu e d by
th is o ffice under date of May 27, 1966. The e lectio n
re su lte d in a tie , an equal num ber of b a llo ts being c a st for
each of the two can did ates p resen ted .
N either candidate having r e c e iv e d a m a jo rity of
the v o tes c a st, another e lectio n w ill be h eld. W hile banks
in G roups 1 and 2 w ill not vote in th is e lectio n , th is letter
is being sent to a ll m em b er banks for th eir in form ation .
